David and Rebecca Muir celebrated their marriage at the stunning McAllister Estate in Yorkville, Illinois on October 5th. The couple met while working as marketing managers for a fashion company in Chicago before relocating to Yorkville in 2013. Since then they have enjoyed life here.

Attended by close family and friends of David’s brother and sister-in-law, his nieces, nephews, their families as well as Rebecca’s mother from California – this spectacular estate was decorated in fall colors with twinkling lights lining gardens and pathways to create an exquisite event space.

Once their ceremony, which was hosted by Reverend Jenifer McAllister (David’s sister), concluded, newlyweds enjoyed a reception dinner under the stars followed by dancing until late into the night. To keep guests amused during their stay at McAllister Estate they received candy cornflakes delivered directly to each room at midnight as well as champagne-topped pancakes served for breakfast on their last morning there!

The Muirs’ Wedding was truly delightful! From start to finish it was an enjoyable and joyous celebration of love, laughter, family and friendship. Congratulations David & Rebecca!

The Guest List

David and Rebecca Muir’s wedding was an eventful occasion. The couple, who have been in a relationship for 10 years, wed at an exquisite estate in Sonoma County with some of Silicon Valley’s richest moguls and celebrities in attendance; there were even reports that Beyonce and Jay-Z attended!

Only 150 guests were invited to this intimate wedding. David co-founded World Ventures, a vacation provider, while Rebecca also established and sells her fashion line through Neiman Marcus – these two entrepreneurs together are estimated to be worth an estimated $550 Million!

David and Rebecca married on the grounds of an estate before hosting their reception nearby. Guests ranged from young children to elderly couples; even Emma Stone came by while walking her pup!

The Wedding truly lived up to its promises! All who were present will never forget this memorable event.

The Ceremony

David and Rebecca Muir’s April wedding was an eventful one, drawing plenty of media coverage prior to its start date. Of course, no other couple could match them both in terms of fame – both celebrities with longstanding public feuds who also got married on an Australian island!

As Rebecca made her way down the aisle on David’s arm, her two mothers joined them at each end. Reverend Richard Young from Sydney served as officiant for their ceremony – Reverend Young is founder of Hillsong Church which bills itself as Australia’s largest and fastest growing evangelical church. A few months before their wedding date, David and Rebecca recorded a video for their website detailing why they decided to get married at Hillsong Church: it would provide them with “unique opportunities to connect with our families and friends on such an emotional day”.

After their wedding ceremony, David and Rebecca invited their guests to Wyndham Vale Resort for a reception, complete with live music from The Revivalists. Guests enjoyed appetizers such as Korean chicken lettuce wraps and beef stroganoff served in individual china bowls; before moving onto main courses such as rack of lamb, roast chicken breast with caramel cream cheese frosting served alongside pork spare ribs pumpkin risotto tiramisu cake; followed by chocolate espresso brownies with caramel cream cheese frosting as dessert accompanied by fresh strawberries served alongside bottomless prosecco or wine for drinkers to toast the occasion!

The Reception

David and Rebecca Muir’s wedding was the talk of the town! From its spectacular ceremony at Forest Lawn in Glendora to its exquisite reception at The Playboy Mansion, it had it all!

A beautiful summer day was spent exchanging vows before entertaining guests at The Playboy Mansion for an elegant reception featuring orange and green decor, providing ample photo opps as well as delicious food and beverages!

Everyone who attended said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever witnessed. David and Rebecca are such sweethearts; everyone enjoyed getting to know them better. David and Rebecca serve as wonderful examples of modern marriage – nontraditional yet very romantic!
