Outer Banks Season 3: Release Date, Trailer and Cast info.

Soon it will be time for Outer Banks’ return. After waiting an agonizing year and a half, we finally get to reunite with our favorite Pogues characters and see where John B. (Chase Stokes) and his group of friends go on this upcoming chapter; what will happen when he finally meets Big John (Charles Halford) again for the first time?

Expect Season 3 of Outer Banks to bring us even more action, adventure, and romance. When we last saw the Pogues in Season 2’s final episode of Outer Banks they were after the coveted Cross of Santo Domingo; while they didn’t quite succeed this time around they did manage to escape fairly unscathed from its pursuit.

Set on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, the series follows John B. and his group of teenagers known as Pogues who, according to John B. himself, form “the lowest members of society.” John B. embarks on a quest to investigate his father’s mysterious disappearance but must contend with opposition from rival Kooks; what begins as an innocent journey quickly turns into a deadly treasure hunt.

Here’s everything we know so far about Outer Banks Season 3.

Outer Banks Season 3’s trailer makes no secret about what the Pogues will search for next, yet their journey won’t be an easy one. Carlos Singh (Andy McQueen) declares in the video, “You and your friends hold the key to El Dorado – my ultimate conquest and destiny.” However, Rafe (Drew Starkey) makes clear they will do whatever is necessary to secure this treasure as “I’m taking what’s mine rightfully mine”. Additionally, this trailer reveals an exciting reveal: John B seeing Big John!

As part of Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event in September 2022, we got our first-look at Season 3. Things start off rosy for the Pogues, even while being marooned on an island; all coconuts and puka shells until car chases, hand-to-hand combat, and imminent danger threaten them in Season 3.

Netflix released first look images from Outer Banks Season 3 when announcing its premiere date, including photos featuring John B, Sarah, and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) staring with differing levels of enthusiasm at an unknown source on what appears to be Poguelandia.

Netflix also released this teaser featuring Jonathan Daviss’ Pope and Grant’s Cleo – we can’t wait to see how Cleo’s friendship with the Pogues unfolds in Season 3. We look forward to Grant becoming a series regular this season and can’t wait for all that this series has in store.

Netflix unveiled their Outer Banks Season 3 cast members in June 2022. Andy McQueen plays Carlos Singh, described by Netflix as an ambitious Caribbean Don on his own treasure hunt for treasure. Outer Banks Season 3 spoilers

Elizabeth Mitchell — who portrays Carla Limbrey on The Affair — hinted at what’s to come for her character during an interview with Metacritic. Mitchell spoke highly of Big John (Charles Halford). “He’s great,” Mitchell exclaimed. Outer Banks Season 2 hinted at this potential alliance when Big John told Limbrey he would help her find a shroud with curative powers if she agreed to assist his son John B. “They may not team up as such, but they certainly spend much of the first part of Season 2 together.” Unfortunately, Limbrey has proven herself untrustworthy by killing her half brother and being accused of his death by Mitchell. Mitchell claimed he wasn’t sure whether Limbrey should really be considered part of their team: “Let’s say she isn’t really a team player,” Mitchell concluded.

What happened during Outer Banks Season 2?

Similar to Season 1, Outer Banks Season 2 ended on a near-death note for John B., Sarah, JJ, Kiara and Pope of The Pogues. Much of Netflix show’s second installment followed John B., Sarah, JJ, Kiara and Pope as they attempted to locate and retrieve the lost Cross of Santo Domingo from its hiding place on Coastal Venture ship; unfortunately they attempted unsuccessfully after chaotic shootout with crew and managed to escape on lifeboat escaping without success after chaotic gun battle; yet positive end as they celebrated being together & safe – for now – together forever more!
